Job Description:
- Responsible for maximizing territory retail sales to consumers for all company products and services.
- Deliver superior service to franchisees in Quebec and Atlantic Canada.
- Liaise with the customer/franchisee to handle complaints immediately in accordance with company guidelines.
- Participate in the preparation of the annual store forecasts by projecting dollar sales, gross profit, expenses and operating profits for the Auto Service Centres.
- Understand fully, the financial statement as it pertains to each store location.
- Recognize and account for store trends, discrepancies and inconsistencies.
- Monitor the performance of each location and recommends improved courses of action where necessary.
- Ensures that the franchisees understand company policies, procedures and operating systems.
- Maintain a reporting system required by Company management and the franchisor.
- Understand and keep abreast of and comply with federal, provincial and municipal regulations that affect repair operations (i.e.: hazardous waste/technicians licenses).
- Understand and ensure compliance with the warranty and policy procedures of the franchisor.
- Review warranty policy adjustments and ensure that all warranty claims are processed in a correct and timely manner.
- Foster professional employee development and coordinate with store managers to determine need for advanced training.
- Ensure a high level of technical competence with the technical staff of each location.
- Develop marketing and pricing plans across territory and make recommendations to Vice President of Operations.
- Establishes and maintains good working relationships with vocational and technical schools to enhance personnel recruitment activities.
Qualifications:
- You are fluently bilingual (English/French).
- You have a proven track record in fixed operations and in consulting with shop managers/franchisees to determine shop improvement areas.
- You also have the ability to develop and implement actions plans to achieve the required corporate objectives, through the introduction of new business practices and procedures, growth of new franchise locations, and implementation of innovative promotional activities.
- Proven track record of automotive aftermarket franchise management.
