Position Objective:
Senior management level position at Porsche Canada who utilizes extensive automotive experience to identify areas of opportunity, and assist Dealers in the creation and implementation of action plans to improve all aspects of their business.

Supports the development, and implementation of new Porsche global strategies, programs and processes at the retail level.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage a market specific Porsche Business Excellence (PBE) strategy incl. detailed roll-out plan and budget. PBE is a centrally run program that develops and implements Porsche retail improvement initiatives and strategies.
  • Responsible for hiring, training and monitoring of PBE Dealership Consultants
  • Conduct Dealer visits to identify areas of opportunity, support the development of action plans, and ensure the integrity of action plan implementation.
  • Develop and manage KPI reporting tools and utilize financial analysis to support Dealer improvement.
  • Manage Dealer Review Meetings with Executive Management
  • Oversee Dealer Key Personnel Training Needs Analysis and ensure training scope matches requirements based on analysis
  • Manage new dealer set-up and conduct set-up training
  • Assist Director, Network Development with ad-hoc strategic projects on an as needed basis. (ie. support the launch of E-mobility at Porsche Centres across Canada)

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years automotive experience with 7+ years of direct retail facing interaction in all facets of dealership operations (sales and after sales).
  • Senior level retail experience (GM/GSM/Fixed Ops Manager) highly valued.
  • Highly capable of interpreting financial statements, and developing/analyzing key performance indicators
  • Ability to multi-task, handle multiple priorities and make decisions independently.
  • Organized and detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong analytical and problem solving abilities
  • Excellent project management skills with proven track record of target achievement (time, quality, budget)
  • Willingness to travel
  • French language is a strong asset

Education:

  • University degree, with specialization in business, finance and/or accounting preferred. MBA an asset.
