Position:          Fleet Sales and Supply Chain Manager
Reports to:      Vice President Canadian Operations

Fleet Sales:

Function:  Accountable to increase the Company’s share of National and Local Fleet sales by:

  • Working with fleet companies to ensure they consider the Company’s products & services
  • Developing programs designed to build our strategic strength in the National and local Fleet business
  • Complete working knowledge software systems

Supply Chain:

Function: To ensure that the Aftermarket service providers have the quality products and  programs that are competitive and profitable

  • Work with the NA head office counterparts to ensure we maximize that their programs and vendors to maximize our buying power
  • Analyze and work with vendors to ensure Canadian franchisees have the right quality / competitive priced warrantied products
  • Analyze the usage of the Company’s Limited Lifetime Warranty Products (LLP) in the stores
  • Analyze data for warranty registration and work with field staff to ensure that dealers are registering the warranty products

 Price Files:

 Function:  To ensure that the shops have the most up-to-date price files at store level

  • Ability to update and complete the major Canadian aftermarket parts suppliers/ distributors price files on a regular basis
  • Determine accuracy of the files and the mapping of the files
  • Work with software vendors to have price files available at the store

 Experience:             

  • Minimum 5+ years automotive/parts and fleet service experience
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate and resolve customer concerns consistent with the Company policies and procedures
  • You have an in-depth knowledge of dealership fixed operations, focusing on parts, service and warranty operations management
  • You are confident, authoritative in one-on-one communication and coaching skills within a dealership
  • You are analytical complimented by strong interpersonal and organizational skills and have the ability to track and meet multiple concurrent deadlines
  • You are able to work independently, and display initiative, with a positive attitude and diplomacy
  • You also have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, and Outlook Express as well as having a comfort level with automotive retail computer software
  • You are able to travel extensively throughout your assigned territory

 Education:         

  • College diploma or university degree desirable
