Position Objective:
Conduct After Sales Training classes for PCL Porsche Centre personnel and internal employees; development of training programs that facilitate the dissemination of information necessary for quality repairs, customer satisfaction and After Sales process improvement.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Development and implementation of the After Sales Training strategy/program, technical and non-technical, for Canadian Porsche Centre personnel and PCL internal employees
- Creation of AS Training (incl. Technical, product, system and skill training) and manage realization
- Supervise and manage the realization of the Porsche Global Certification System (PGCS) for the AS personnel
- Manage and conduct regional Zertifizierter Porsche Techniker (ZPT) program
- Definition and implementation of a After Sales Training Centre in Canada (PCL owned)
- Management of Training Centre (PCL owned)
- Handle training organization for all AS trainings
- Update and maintain information on Porsche Academy for all After Sales related areas, incl. technician data
- Monitor After Sales Training KPI’s and derive measures based on results
- Ensure all Porsche Centre staff received adequate and sufficient training to support the position objective
- Participate in all meetings related to AS Training (ITC, TTS)
- Participate in Global Trainer Qualification Program
- Assist Tech-Line and dealership technicians
Qualifications:
Education:
- College degree in Education, Automotive Technology or Engineering
- Advanced automotive or engineering coursework
- Completed Automotive Technician
Experience – Job & Industry:
- 6-8 years automotive mechanical hands-on experience, Porsche technical experience preferred
- 5 years technical trainer experience
- French language knowledge
Skills/Competencies
- Superior presentation and speaking skills
- Superior verbal and written communication skills, spelling, grammar and composition skills.
- Excellent overall understanding of automotive technology and repair, Porsche preferred.
- Natural leadership ability; team player with consensual approach
- Superior organization, communication and reporting skills
- Systematic thinker; ability to work at conceptual and detail levels
- English and French fluently (oral and written). German preferred
- Advanced PC skills with accent on Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously
- Self-directed, requiring limited supervision
- Willingness to travel as required
- Completion of certified technician program is an advantage
