Position Description:

The Regional After Sales Manager will provide field After Sales support for customers and dealers with emphasis on achieving customer loyalty and dealer satisfaction; provide feedback to the After Sales Director about the market place in regard to owner expectations, dealership performance, and franchise compliance; and other After Sales projects as required. The Regional After Sales Manager will also be responsible for the implementation and attainment of all sales, marketing and purchasing objectives within the Region; also responsible for the developing and following through on recommendations designed to enhance dealership parts wholesale and retail operations and profitability, development and implementation of parts retail, wholesale and marketing strategy (parts and service). Work with After Sales Director to achieve region’s After Sales qualitative and quantitative goals (Key Performance Indicators).

  • Customer assistance handling
  • Dealership personnel/training management
  • Warranty policy & procedures management
  • Dealer labour sales
  • Operating standards compliance
  • Dealer after sales department management
  • Dealer after sales merchandising
  • Dealer certification

Qualifications:

  • 7-10 years of retail and/or automotive wholesale experience
  • Thorough understanding of automotive retail service and parts operations
  • Mechanical experience or aptitude with technical knowledge
  • Experience in vehicle sales operations (retail or wholesale) are beneficial

Skills:

  • Demonstrated strong written and oral communication skills.
  • English and French language knowledge
  • PC proficiency (strong MS Excel skills required).
  • Thorough product knowledge with the ability to give on-the-job instructions in Dealer Management Systems.
  • High amount of overnight travel is required/participation in special events (auto shows/dealer-customer events) during evenings/weekends may be required.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Thorough understanding of dealership After Sales functions

Education:

  • College degree in Automotive Technology, engineering, or business or the equivalent education or experience.
