Position: Manager, OEM Liaison
Reports To: Director, Sales Planning

General Summary:

This position is responsible for maintaining and developing the OEM/Finance Company relationship to create partnership towards attaining joint OEM and Finance Company goals. Interact with OEM Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Product Planning departments. Coordinate program pricing and implementation of joint OEM/Finance Company programs. Secure OEM support for subvention programs. Develop monthly and quarterly subvention and standard program proposals for executive review and approval. This position will be the Voice of the OEM to the Finance Company and vice versa. It will also be the Central point of communication for OEM and the Finance Company interaction.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate program pricing negotiation and implementation of joint OEM/Finance Company special programs
  • Coordinate OEM requests and working with appropriate the Finance Company departments to ensure timely response to the OEM.
  • Demonstrate captive value while working with OEM and the Finance Company counterparts to jointly develop special programs supporting OEM sales and the Finance Company penetration goals.
  • Ensure accuracy of program costing and projection of program impact.
  • Develop monthly and quarterly program proposals for executive review and approval
  • Ensure successful program implementation.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Excellent group presentations skills, ability on think on your feet
  • Financial analysis and competitive analysis experience required
  • Advance skills in MS Access, Excel, Work, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to build positive working relationship with OEM
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional business environment

Education & Experience:

  • 4 year undergraduate degree
  • Marketing, Finance, or Business Administration preferred
  • 10 years of experience of which at least three years of directly related experience in automotive finance, especially marketing, sales or finance strongly preferred
  • History of sales leadership
