Primary Responsibilities:

The Director, Porsche Financial Services Canada will have full responsibility to supervise and manage the business of PFSC and is based at the Porsche Canada Limited office in Toronto.

Job Description:

  • Responsible for all PFSC activities in meeting quantitative and qualitative targets of PFSC and to PFS Group standards
  • Develop and launch financial services products according to PFS standards
  • Develop and launch special financial services initiatives/special award programs together with the manufacturer including dealer bonus schemes and salesmen incentives
  • Actively manage the development of dealer specific action plans to address deficiencies in target completion or the resolution of other pertinent issues.
  • Support and train retail personnel regarding financial services products
  • Visit authorized retail dealerships
  • Participate and represent PFSC in franchise dealer events
  • Conduct market research and surveys regarding pricing, products, and processes of the competition
  • Represent PFSC at the Board of Directors’ and international meetings including preparation of materials
  • Supervise direct reports and instruct indirect reports in projects

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years finance industry experience with a concentration in sales/business development and captive finance operations (credit, collections, customer service, remarketing, and dealer finance/leasing
  • Commitment to excellence
  • Proven effectiveness in selling ability
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English language (French language skills preferred)
  • Computer proficiency with MS Office applications
  • Proven project management skills
  • Proven negotiation and mediation skills

Education:

  • Business degree required; MBA preferred
