Position Objective:
This 18-month contract position will support all activities of the Network Development department with specific focus on delivering detailed market analysis, Dealer performance assessments, and identification of sales and service opportunities.

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Market Analysis
    • Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual reports (e.g. market share, cross-sell, VIO) for Porsche Canada management and Dealers that highlight and compare market performance by Dealer, Region, and nationally.
    • Provide detailed analysis of current Porsche segment performance in Dealers’ Primary Area of Responsibility. Provide supporting data and recommendations to Regional Sales Management to review and develop action plans with Dealers.
    • Support Porsche’s long term network planning process by utilizing IHS software tools to complete market study’s which evaluate the opportunity to introduce new Porsche Centre’s or new retail formats. Create reports and presentations that will support Network Development decisions.
    • Support the Aftersales Department by utilizing internal KPI’s and forecasted sales and vehicles in operation data, to calculate current and future service capacity requirements.
    • Cross-referencing registration data in the software mapping tools with existing service customer data from DMS or CRM systems, or PCL’s C@P to identify additional service profit opportunities
  2. Support the National Dealer Development Manager with all activities related to preparing the Dealer Network for Mission E (electric mobility)
  3. Assist with the further implementation of digitalization of the Dealership environment.
  4. Support the administration of the Dealer Performance Margin Program, Premier Dealer Program, and MICI assessment.
  5. Deliver enhanced financial and KPI reporting and analysis of monthly/annual Dealer results.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or equivalent background in a related field of study

Experience (Job and Industry):

  • Previous work experience in a corporate environment required, automotive preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ in a similar position (market analysis) preferred.
  • Knowledge of, and passion for the automotive industry is an asset
  • Languages (French) is an asset but not a requirement

  • Ability to solve advanced problems and trouble-shoot complex issues
  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe

  • Ability to manage and oversee several activities at once
  • Desire for continuous development and learning opportunities
