Job Summary:

Director of Sales & Marketing will be responsible for the growth and development of current tire customers as well as increasing tire market share in across Canada.
You will enhance the company brand across numerous automotive verticals to promote the company’s products and value added service. Responsibilities will also include – Direct marketing, customer management, product presentation, pricing negotiations and customer service.

Job Description:

  • Expand company’s presence and secure supplier agreements with numerous automotive verticals – national wholesale distributors, Original Equipment Manufacturers and their retailers.
  • Develop the company’s national sales strategies, regional targets and implementation plan.
  • Develop marketing programs to enhance retailer participation.
  • Monitor and analyze market/industry trends and the activity of competitors with respect to product, people and services.
  • Build and maintain strong relations with suppliers.
  • Proven track record of managing, coaching and mentoring direct reports.

Qualifications and Education:

  • The ideal applicant should have 5+ years’ sales and account management experience with PCR/LTR tire manufacturer or dealer.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Leadership and strategic thinking skills.
  • Proven relationship development.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all corporate levels.
  • Ability and willingness to travel over 50%.
  • Proven advanced computer skills in all MS applications, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
  • Bilingual preferred.
