Job Profile:

Our client, AGCO Corporation is currently seeking a Field Parts Manager to join their Parts Sales team and cover the Ontario/Atlantic Canada region. The Field Parts Manager will play a key part in growing AGCO part sales as well as programs that support dealer sales to assigned dealers within the Ontario/Atlantic Canada region. Additionally, the Field Parts Manager will be responsible for assisting dealers increasing the dealers’ retail parts sales, training dealer personnel on products and programs, and maintaining accurate records while working with AGCO’s AGCO Parts Integration, Retail Inventory Management, and Whole Goods teams.

Job Description:

  • Travel 7-10 days a month, including overnights, to assigned dealers throughout Ontario and the Atlantic Canada region
  • Conduct multistep, sequential problem-solving activities, which include comparing, analyzing, and calculating data relevant to departmental operations
  • Independently and routinely contact dealers in-person, by phone, and via e-mail to solicit orders for AGCO parts division products
  • Provide systems training to dealers
  • Assist and consult the dealer in merchandising parts and growing retail sales
  • Actively promote and provide information to dealers on special promotions and programs
  • Routinely follow-up with dealers regarding any relevant questions to promote positive dealer relationships

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of product sales experience within a dealer or distribution business model
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office, specifically with Excel, including the ability to create and analyze spreadsheets
  • Ability to drive an automobile and have a valid driver’s license
  • Knowledge of farm and agricultural equipment
  • Prior parts sales experience, including understanding the logistics and analytics, in a supply chain field

Education:          

  • Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in a marketing, business, or agricultural related field
