Position

Responsible for the promotion and Sales generation of our Wheels & Tires Program through personal subject matter expertise while exhibiting a strong Leadership & persuasive focus to drive Sales & profitability, the Wheel & Tire Specialist will execute on Raymond and DuraSource product offerings, conduct customer engagement wheel & tire parts purchase reviews and equipment wheel & tire usage product reviews for growth opportunities through existing and new channels to drive profitability and support other businesses such as Rental, Renewed and Road Service, and work with the Operations to ensure achievement of objectives and return on investment.

How You’ll Make an Impact

Analysis & Reporting:

  • Track daily sales of wheels & tire activity, trends and opportunities
  • Analyze and identify credible threats to GNJ LOB from online and local tire companies targeting existing customers.
  • Analyze process performance and identify opportunities for improvement (i.e. Closing ratio of Parts Quotes, Question Lost Sales, etc.).
  • Report on Key Performance Indicators, through dashboard of leading and lagging indicators to sustain and drive performance.
  • Analyze our current product offerings and recommend / implement changes to improve sales performance.
  • Review reporting results with Parts Business Director and agree upon action plans to improve and correct.

Sales Revenue Generation:

  • Engagement with Techs, Service Mgrs., & Customers (will include Tech accompaniment for face to face meetings to address possible high-risk defections or large acquisition opportunities where you will be leveraged as the Subject Matter Expert) to retain and drive revenues.
  • Actively support sales, service, national accounts, customers, local manager.
  • Works collaboratively with Sales on Attack, Defend, Dormant accounts, and identifies prospects.
  • Reviews sales channel performance, closing rates, daily sales by parts correspondent (closing ratios of quotes).
  • Applies product expertise, sales coaching to acquire, retain business (good/better/best; Features-Advantages-Benefits).
  • Overcomes Objections – through infectious enthusiasm coaches Technicians with proven fact based subject matter to speak to value proposition options, pricing and discount programs, supporting processes and regular follow up with channels to ensure progress against targets.
  • Support customer acquisition, retention, and win back.
  • Ensure the achievement of Raymond “Dealer of Distinction” sales targets and goals.
  • Develop cost-effective marketing initiatives to help grow the business.
  • Maintain strong relationships with regional operations and staff at all levels to ensure accurate and timely insights into issues and opportunities.

Operations and Training for Sustainability

  • Optimize inventory; reduce unnecessary ordering.
  • Effectively manage end-to-end internal supply chain (order to cash).
  • Improve internal, external customer service thru; deliveries; use of local “depots”, additional services (recycling, etc.).
  • Training to develop wheel & tire expertise throughout company (Parts Correspondents, Techs, Sales).
  • Ensure wheel & tire training is embedded and entangled into employee culture for succession planning to ensure sustainability.
  • Ongoing training on national curriculum: product; process; sales; best practices; personal development.
