Introduction

Our client, Studio Cycle Group, is seeking a Motorcycle Mechanic / Service Technician to join their small, unique, family-run shop that services a big and diverse community of passionate riders of motorcycles, scooters and power-assisted electric vehicles in the Dundas & Keele area -where they been serving the Toronto community for the last 12 years.

Primary Responsibilities

In this role, you will advise customers on work performed and condition of equipment; adjust, repair or replace mechanical or electrical system parts; test and adjust repaired equipment for proper performance; perform scheduled maintenance and service; inspect and test engines to diagnose and isolate faults; review work orders and discuss work with supervisor.

As a valued member of the team, you will enjoy: $30/hour as a licensed mechanic / technician; flexible pay structure for the off-season and the ability to bank hours or earn overtime pay during the busy season; opportunities to get out of the shop and take advantage of their fleet of used/demo bikes.

Qualifications / Required Skills

You have a current Motorcycle Mechanic Trade certificate recognized by the Ontario College of Trades (310G or equivalent) and/or a Registered Apprenticeship certificate; 3-5 years of experience servicing motorcycles, scooters, ATVs or SxS; M license (or ability to acquire for vehicle test rides); basic computer skills. You own your own set of basic and specialty tools.
