Currently, they have an immediate opening for an experienced Automotive Service Manager who knows the service operation inside and out and can manage and build the department to reach its potential. Recently, they have partnered with the Marckis Group to assist in building their team.

Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for all aspects of the service operation and responsibilities to achieve customer satisfaction; service advisor hours/repair order; technician productivity/efficiency; monthly flat rate hours, revenue and profitability objectives.

We view the Service Department as key to the overall success of the Dealership and a key driver to increase vehicle sales. Our size and your position will allow you to regularly interact with customers.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead a successful Service operation by building, managing and motivating an efficient department based on customer engagement/satisfaction; employee respect / satisfaction / performance and technician productivity / efficiency and quality repairs.
  • Implementing processes and standards to ensure customer satisfaction; control costs; and retain and grow the customer service base.
  • Ensure all paperwork / flow is properly completed and processed daily in particular warranty claims.

Qualifications / Experience:

  • Three years or more of Service Management Experience with a proven track record in a franchised automotive dealership.
  • An energetic, professional with integrity, honesty, people skills and a well-groomed appearance with good oral and written skills that motivates people to succeed.
  • Well organized, detail orientated, able to handle multiple tasks, sets priorities and meets deadlines.
  • Computer savvy who generates and uses daily/monthly reports that enable you to track results and take corrective actions be it performance, operational or customer satisfaction.

We offer the preferred candidate an attractive compensation package based on a salary, customer satisfaction; technician and service advisor performance; the service department monthly operating results; a year-end bonus and a company vehicle with a gas allowance.
