G2S TOBEQ Inc. is a wholesale distributor of tools and equipment serving the automotive, heavy-duty, industrial, agricultural and marine industries. Their products are distributed across the country to retailers and mobile resellers.

Their mission is to meet and surpass the expectations of their customers through hands-on customized operations and personalized services. Their facilities have state-of-the-art information and warehouse management systems to improve the customer service experience.

Currently, they are seeking an Outside Sales Representative for the Greater Calgary Area and have partnered with the Marckis Group to assist in building their team.

The goal of the Outside Sales Representative position is to help the growth of their Multinational organization, increase the sales of tools and equipment serving the automotive, heavy-duty, industrial, agricultural and marine industries throughout Canada. The ideal candidate must be results driven, energetic and detail oriented.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop & maintain good relationships with accounts and key decision makers.
  • Develop new business leads.
  • Follow up on new leads and conduct research to identify potential prospects.
  • Schedule outbound calls to provide promotion details, new product information, and follow-up.
  • Responsible for book of business to grow account sales, develop account strategy.
  • Utilize internal systems to identify daily tasks, schedule calls, log customer information, monitor sales results.
  • Handle customer concerns effectively.
  • Develop email distribution lists for account base and build campaigns.
  • Provide price quotes and assist customers with order issues.
  • Maintain regular sales / territory updates.
  • Use available tools to review customer needs.
  • Work with other team members in Field Sales and Marketing to maximize sales.
  • Report results/opportunities to Director of Sales.

Qualifications / Experience:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Post-secondary degree and/or 2 years of Inside Sales or similar industry experience.
  • Experience and knowledge in the automotive industry associated to tools and equipment.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Team player.
