Based out of a new office facility planned in the Hwy 427/401/QEW corridor, we are seeking a Human Resources Director to set up and lead the HR & Administration departments as the organization develops and expands into this new market.

Job Profile / Key Responsibilities

Within this exciting and fast-paced environment, this position will be responsible for developing and deploying HR strategies, policies, procedures and practices involving areas such as organizational design, recruitment and retention, culture & engagement, compensation & benefits, training, performance management, etc.

You will be a key member of the management team and will work closely with senior leadership to ensure that ‘best practices’ are defined, implemented and adhered to both within and outside the automotive sector and that all policies and procedures are in compliance with applicable legal regulations.

Qualifications / Required Skills

You have a CPHR (or equivalent) with 5+ years of experience as a Human Resources Director overseeing both HR and Administration departments. You are a consummate professional with excellent people-skills, discernment and discretion along with strong organizational and planning capabilities – ideally with some work experience in the automotive sector.

You possess a high level of proficiency in all MS Office applications and are able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Candidates with an energetic, entrepreneurial spirit who are willing to go the extra mile and beyond the scope of their formal responsibilities will be most attracted to this role.  As a newly established business in a very exciting and dynamic segment, there will be many opportunities to expand your responsibilities, your ways of thinking and perhaps even challenge yourself beyond your ‘normal’ comfort zone.
