Job Description: 

OTC Automotive District Sales Managers take a consultative approach with their clients – understanding their business objectives so they can recommend the right solution. You will be responsible for achieving sales targets for turnkey multi-channel conquest, loyalty and service campaigns.

The ideal candidate can sell at every level of a dealership organization, working with owners, GM’s, sales/service managers and marketing. You must have the ability to work quickly and efficiently, maximizing the monthly sales cycle in an environment where sales typically take only days to close.

In this role you will:

  • Maintain regular contact clients and prospects through regular calls and onsite visits
  • Advise target accounts of OEM, monthly promotions in a timely fashion
  • Identify client and prospect sales objectives, determine the budget and recommend OTC Automotive solution that meets both
  • Collaborate with internal team on sold solutions to meet client requirements
  • Field and resolve client concerns
  • Assist A/R department in collecting outstanding accounts in a timely manner

Experience & Abilities: 

We’re looking for sales professionals with a proven track record in a hunter/farmer sales environment.

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • Three-plus years of successful selling experience in the marketing or automotive sector
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • A professional demeanour and strong customer service skills
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced sales environment where you are the owner of your own destiny
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task to achieve deadlines
  • Careful attention to detail
  • Experience managing your territory using CRM systems, like Salesforce
  • High school diploma
